The more we travel, the more we value the small experiences that we can live in a destination as if we were indigenous. Because it is very simple to visit the most emblematic and most famous points of a country, but everything gets complicated when you want to live those same places as the locals themselves. And is that one of the things that enrich the traveler most are those unique experiences that do not appear in the travel guides.
With this premise, a few months ago the Spanish company began its journey Trip4real, a portal that puts travelers and local people in contact to live experiences of all kinds: sports, gastronomic, cultural, shopping ... everything you can imagine.
Thanks to Trip4real already Blog on Brands I had the opportunity to do one of those activities that I had always wanted to do, but that I had never done: sail on the coast of Barcelona. So I could contemplate the skyline from the city and take a dip in the high seas.
At ten in the morning we meet at the Olympic port of Barcelona to go to the mooring where the sailboat was. It was a Beneteau 47.7 racing sailboat with two bathrooms with shower and an equipped kitchen, as well as four cabins to perfectly accommodate eight passengers. The boat can also be rented to go to the Balearic Islands, navigate the Mediterranean or, why not? cross the Atlantic. Of course, you have to have time, because the navigation speed is only 14 kilometers per hour.
After introducing ourselves to the ship, we set sail to contemplate Barcelona from another point of view. I had never seen the city from the sea and it seemed very beautiful. Shortly after leaving, our captain requested the help of a small group to command the ship while the sails were deployed.
